E&I Technician ELYgator

As an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician, you will be responsible for the operational reliability and safe operation of all electrical and instrumentation installations at our production location on Maasvlakte 2. You will work closely with the operational team and external contractors to ensure the continuity of hydrogen production.

Requirements

• Completed MBO level 4 education in the direction of Electrical Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology, Industrial Automation, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of relevant work experience as an E&I Technician in an industrial environment, preferably in the (petrochemical) sector or at a comparable production company.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and cabling (AC/DC).
• Experience with maintenance and calibration of process instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, and level meters).
• Knowledge of and experience with industrial automation, such as PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Certifications: Knowledge of and experience with industrial safety standards such as NEN 3140/3840 and ATEX (explosive safety). Relevant certifications are a clear plus or you are willing to obtain them.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both in word and in writing. In addition, basic knowledge of the English language is desirable for reading technical documentation.
