Job Description
Air Liquide Large Industries is seeking an I&E Technician-Cogen & Utilities to support its industrial gas and energy solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing instrumentation and electrical jobs with contractors, monitoring contractor work quality, and maintaining equipment records.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 2 year Associates Degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training preferred
- 5+ years I&E experience preferred
- Experience in instrumentation and controls
- Ability to repair and troubleshoot PH, Conductivity, TOC, and Silica analyzers
- Experience in emissions analyzers systems and have the ability to troubleshoot on a systematic level
- Rebuild all components pertaining to a CEMS system
- Able to repair and troubleshoot NOX, O2, CO2, CO, Wet O2, and GC analyzers
- Maintain all paperwork and documentation for emission analyzers
- Experience with DCS controls preferred, Mark VI and/or DeltaV a plus
- Thorough knowledge of the operation and safety aspects of the MCC/switchgear
- Able to use precision tools to obtain critical measurements
- Able to document as-found and as-left measurements
- Proficient in the use of a maintenance management program system
- Knowledgeable in safe work practices, safety procedures, and other safety requirements
- Knowledgeable in emergency procedures
- Knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers, and water treatment equipment a plus
- Expertise in the proper methods of de-energizing and locking out electrical/instrumentation equipment
- Be able to distinguish all possible sources of energy in a system
- Expertise operating the following equipment - Forklift,JLG
- Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs
- Able to climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces
- Able to work in non-conditioned environment for extended periods
- Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work
- Able to be on call 24/7 as business needs dictate
