Maintenance Technician

Air Liquide is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Pasadena, TX. The role involves performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, and proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment.

Requirements

• Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment
• Execute preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, inspections, and calibrations to support reliability and enhance equipment performance
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, uncover root causes, and contribute to effective repair solutions
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track equipment history, and manage spare parts inventory
• Participate in on-call rotation and support the team during emergency breakdowns outside of regular working hours as required
• Collaborate with operations personnel and engineers to foster plant processes and improve equipment reliability
• Read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals
• Conduct equipment inspections, foster a safe environment by identifying potential hazards, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care of tools and equipment
