Job Description
The Estimator provides the necessary documentation for projects, developing designs, budgets, and bids. They work with project managers and subcontractors to analyze blueprints and specifications, prepare cost estimates, and respond to bids. This role involves maintaining client relationships, implementing bid strategies, and ensuring accurate record keeping.
Requirements
- Foster and maintain relationships with clients
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and bid requests
- Create RFI’s
- Gather, update, and review historical cost data
- Ensure bid invitations are followed
- Analyze budget creation and job cost reports
- Read and review general requirements in specifications
- Pre-construction activities (hand-offs, submittals)
