Manager Safety Programs

The Manager of Safety Programs is responsible for administering three Aviation Safety Action Programs (ASAP), Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) and two Fatigue Programs, and working with internal stakeholders, FAA, and other organizations to promote a safe operating environment.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent
• Part 121 and 135 experience
• Three years of experience with data mining, analysis, trending and reporting
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet courseware development tools, and e-mail
• Experience in flight operation performance data, statistical and risk analysis
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Web-based communication experience
• Ability to balance competing demands with producing quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement strategies
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills and logical aptitude to work with complex regulatory requirements
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to act as an advocate for change
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain information confidentiality
• Strong ability to work in a team environment and to help others assimilate into the team
