Job Description
Airalo is seeking a Roaming IREG Engineer to join their fully remote Networks team. The successful candidate will design the future of global networks, ensure seamless connectivity for over 20 million travellers, and validate signaling, data throughput, and voice quality across international borders.
Requirements
- Lead the planning and execution of GSMA IREG test cases
- Perform deep-dive protocol analysis on SS7, Diameter, and GTP signaling
- Coordinate with the Core Engineering team
- Manage remote testing probes and physical test SIM cards
- Direct experience working at a Roaming Hub, IPX Provider, or Tier 1 MNO
- Proven track record of executing IR.24, IR.35, and IR.92 test suites from scratch
- Mastery of Wireshark/pcap analysis for MAP, Diameter, and GTP protocols
- Deep understanding of SoR (Steering of Roaming) logic and how it affects IREG test results
- Comprehensive understanding of SS7/SIGTRAN and Diameter routing architectures
