Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Business Analyst plays a strategic role in driving the commercial performance and growth of the MOVE Flights business. This role goes beyond reporting and analysis to actively shape commercial decisions, influence pricing and distribution strategies, and support high-impact initiatives across the Flights vertical.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
- Typically 4–6 years of experience in business analytics, commercial analysis, revenue management, e-commerce, OTA, or travel-related industries.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure complex or ambiguous business challenges into clear analytical approaches.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in SQL, dashboards, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) preferred.
- AI-enabled analytical capability, including the ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation, or analytics assistants) to accelerate data analysis and insight generation, improve reporting efficiency and workflow automation, support forecasting, scenario modelling, and decision-making, and enhance storytelling and presentation development.
