Senior Lead Programmer (Game Industry)

Playwing is an independent Game Developer and Publisher with a passion for games. We are seeking a Senior Lead Programmer to lead a team of programmers, develop, motivate, and manage a team of programmers, and collaborate with other teams on the project.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in the game development industry
• 2+ years of relevant experience as team lead
• Experience in managing a team of 4+ employees
• Extensive knowledge of C++ programming and debugging
• Experience with commonly used development tools such as Visual Studio and Perforce
• Good understanding of gameplay technology and mathematics, physics, animation, artificial intelligence
• Knowledge of common algorithms, data structures, and patterns
• Strong understanding of multithreaded/parallel programming
• Experience with 3D games engines
• Shipped console/PC title experience
