Job Description
Airtable is looking for a Software Engineer to work on its product backend, focusing on scalability and performance. The role involves designing and building systems to increase the scalability and performance of applications built on Airtable, collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand customer needs, and working on the Enterprise Product portion of the org.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry experience with modern systems development, ideally database internals development
- Programming in TypeScript and Rust
- Good understanding of modern web technologies and large-scale web application architecture
- Background in computer science or a related field
- Thoughtful approach to decision making
- Strong convictions, weakly held
- Strong ownership instincts and sweating details
