Job Description
The electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Requirements
- Interpret and implement electrical diagrams to wire mechanical assemblies.
- Read and interpret Electrical Controls Drawings, Layouts and other documents.
- Maintain application skills for electrical components, circuits, J.I.C. electrical specifications, NEMA standards.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Diagnose problems, debug and troubleshooting on electrical equipment.
- Adhere to the Quality System and participate in Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Breaker operation, setting, adjustment and repair.
- High voltage connection preparation.
- Relay setting, adjustment, calibration and repair.
- Special soldering (miniature connectors).
