Head of Legal

Aiven is seeking a Head of Legal to lead and develop a small, world-class legal team that enables the business to move fast, win commercially, and scale globally. The role involves shaping Aiven's global legal strategy, leading commercial legal work, providing expert counsel, and managing regulatory and compliance obligations.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with significant in-house experience at a fast-paced technology or SaaS business
• Proven experience across multiple international jurisdictions
• Proven experience leading and developing small, high-impact legal teams in a high-growth environment
• Experience with open-source software licensing is a strong advantage
