Associate - Banking and Finance

AKD is a leading Benelux law firm seeking a (Junior) Associate Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience to strengthen its Banking and Finance team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Law, strong communication skills, and experience in Banking and Finance.

Requirements

• Managing Financial Transactions: Manage transactions end-to-end, under supervision and guidance from the Partners, coordinating negotiations, structuring, documentation, and execution.
• Providing Strategic Legal Advice: Advise clients on all types of financing transactions and cross-border financing structures.
• Drafting and Reviewing Financial Documentation: Prepare and review loan agreements, security packages, intercreditor arrangements, and refinancing structures. Ensure documentation aligns with commercial objectives and regulatory standards.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with specialists in corporate law, tax, funds, litigation, and restructuring to deliver integrated legal solutions across financial transactions.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to leading banks, financial institutions, sponsors, and borrowers. Understand their strategic goals and deliver bespoke legal and commercial advice tailored to their fit.
