Job Description
Akerman, a premier law firm, seeks an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support its Real Estate Practice Group in New York. The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a large law firm and strong technical proficiency.
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience supporting attorneys in a large law firm, preferably Real Estate
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, iManage, Chrome River (Emburse), Intapp, and document comparison tools
- Hands-on experience with enterprise legal billing systems (e.g., Elite 3E; 3E Proforma or comparable paperless proforma tools)
- Ability to manipulate documents in Kofax Power PDF
- Excellent typing accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Well-organized, dependable, and able to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently, and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
