Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Regional Drug Dependency Unit (RDDU) at Great Plains Area facility in Winnebago, NE. This role supports the interdisciplinary care team, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient status, and promoting a safe recovery environment. The position involves patient care, clinical assistance, and unit support.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, recognized by the state of Nebraska or compact state licensure eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or able to obtain before hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
