Job Description
The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to the Dental Officer within the Health Services Department of a federal correctional facility, assisting with dental specialties, maintaining equipment, and performing administrative tasks in a secure environment.
Requirements
- Specialty training from a licensed dentist or certification from an accredited Dental Assistant school
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing dental assistant services
- Certification in dental radiology and radiology safety
- CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Bilingual oral communication skills
- Experience in a clinical correctional setting
