Job Description
Akicita Federal is seeking highly skilled ER Registered Nurses (ER RNs) to provide professional nursing services at the Hopi Health Care Center (HHCC) in Polacca, AZ. This role supports the Emergency Department and ensures continuity of patient care in a remote healthcare setting. Nurses will stabilize patients, administer treatment, and collaborate with physicians.
Requirements
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications, blood products, and perform treatments.
- Operate and manage medical equipment.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and response to treatments.
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies.
- Collect and process patient specimens.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain compliance with CMS and IHS standards.
- Work in a remote healthcare environment.
