Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide comprehensive, skilled, and competent nursing care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, as part of a healthcare team supporting the mission of the Indian Health Service (IHS) by providing culturally acceptable personal and public health services to the Navajo Nation.
Requirements
- Perform nursing duties and manage patient needs as directed by supervisors and in accordance with competency standards
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, blood products, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
- Interview patients and families to determine triage classifications and evaluate interventions for life-threatening situations
