Job Description
The White Earth Service Unit (WESU) is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to deliver comprehensive laboratory services at the White Earth Health Center, Naytahwaush, and Pine Point Satellite Clinics. The MLT will play a crucial role in supporting WESU’s mission of providing high-quality, culturally sensitive healthcare to ensure positive health outcomes for all patients, performing specimen collection, testing, quality control, and instrument maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician
- Minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to operate and calibrate analytical instruments
- Proficiency in medical terminology, microbiology, chemistry, physiology, and quality assurance practices
- Fluent in English
- Ability to provide all required educational and training documentation
