Job Description
Akido is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join its team in New York City. The successful candidate will be part of a small, interdisciplinary care team working across in-person, virtual, and community-based settings. The dietitian will lead nutrition-focused group visits, support six-month lifestyle medicine programs, and work closely with clinicians to integrate nutrition into chronic disease prevention and management.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential
- Active New York State licensure or eligibility
- 2+ years of experience in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, or chronic disease management
- Strong communication, facilitation, and cross-cultural skills
- Comfort working in group settings, virtual care, and community-based environments
