Job Description
AKKO is seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) to focus on automating and manual testing of their software products. The role involves writing automated tests, maintaining them, and triaging failures. The SDET will work with modern frameworks and contribute to a collaborative, remote-first team. They will need to drive regression for new initiatives and improve the QA process.
Requirements
- Define risk-based test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Build and maintain automated tests across E2E, integration, and API layers.
- Perform targeted manual/exploratory testing and drive regression.
- Create and manage test data, mocks/fixtures.
- Coordinate with engineers to reproduce, triage, and debug issues.
- Ensure post-deployment smoke testing and release sign-off.
- Continuously improve the QA/SDET toolchain.
- Strong analytical skills, fluency with Agile and tooling.
