Job Description
The County is seeking a Forensic Behavioral Health Clinician I to provide mental health clinical services and forensically focused case management services to clients in a jail setting. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related field, and be registered as an Associate Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychological Assistant/Associate, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor from the applicable licensing authority.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related field
- Registration as an Associate Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Psychological Assistant/Associate, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor from the applicable licensing authority
- Valid California Motor Vehicle Operator's license (for some positions)
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
- Security clearance from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office
