Device Engineering Intern

Alarm.com is a rapidly expanding technology company developing innovative cloud and device solutions across a wide range of cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for a talented and passionate embedded software intern for the Device Engineering team to help us define the future of the Internet-of-Things for residential and commercial properties.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with a modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or C#, with object-oriented design a plus
• Experience with software development practices in a Linux environment or microcontroller environment
• Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence or machine learning concepts, or a strong interest in learning how AI is applied to IoT and embedded systems
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for working with technology and excitement for creating high-quality consumer technology products
