Senior Staff Software Engineer

Alarm.com is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join their Platform team. The successful candidate will have experience leading and mentoring other engineers, and will be responsible for driving technical discovery, design, and implementation of large-scale applications, products, and platforms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading and/or mentoring other engineers
• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming skills
• Software architecture experience
• Experience with production support
• Extensive observability experience
• Significant database design and development experience
• Capacity planning experience
• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
