As a Software Engineer II, you will work with a team of mobile developers building the Alarm.com Android application used by millions of customers every day to secure and manage their homes and businesses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of professional Android development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java experience is a plus)
- Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, MVP)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and backend service integration
- Understanding of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Experience leveraging AI/ML technologies in mobile applications
