Mental Health Professional (MHP)

We are seeking Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) to join our team at Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL. As an MHP, you will work with adults with chronic psychiatric disorders, providing recovery and rehabilitation support and services. Responsibilities include collaborating with the consumer and treatment team to complete assessments and develop therapeutic treatment plans, implementing therapeutic care plans and activities, and crisis management and intervention.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field (counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, social work, education, vocational counseling, psychology, pastoral counseling, family therapy, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in other field + 2 years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health setting
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Certificate of Psychiatric Rehabilitation from an Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) approved program + High School Diploma/GED + 2 years’ experience providing mental health services
• Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) Licensure through the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association (IAODAPCA)
• Occupational therapy assistant + 1 year experience in a mental health setting
• High School Diploma + 5 years of supervised clinical experience in mental health or human services
