Clinical Nurse – Med Surg Float Pool

The Clinical Nurse floats to medicine, post-surgical, and emergency departments, assessing, coordinating, and implementing patient care. The role requires a focus on progress toward discharge and ensures that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided.

Requirements

• Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry or ICU experience
