Job Description
The Medical Assistant performs assigned tasks of direct and indirect care in the ambulatory setting to meet the care needs of patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP).
Requirements
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 1-3 years Medical office experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team as well as individually
- Certified Medical Assistant with accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) Upon Hire
