Director, Legal Services job opportunity within the Legal Services Division (Family and Surrogate Court Litigation team (“FASCL”)), requiring significant knowledge of child protection, child support and maintenance enforcement, adult guardianship and trusteeship, wills and estates, and/or Aboriginal law, and extensive experience in providing legal advice and/or litigation services in a complex public sector regulatory legal environment.
Requirements
- Significant knowledge of and demonstrated experience in three or more of the following areas of law: child protection, child support and maintenance enforcement, adult guardianship and trusteeship, wills and estates, and/or Aboriginal law
- Extensive experience providing legal advice and/or litigation services within a complex public sector regulatory legal environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing, coaching, and developing high-performing professional teams
- Strong experience analyzing complex legal, policy, and operational issues and providing strategic advice to senior or executive leadership
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience leading or contributing to organizational or operational improvements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
