In addition to developing unit controller programming and designing interface graphics of building automation systems, the Programmer will also be responsible for the overall success of software design, database creation, and the implementation of procedures and standards used in the programming of controls projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or 3+ years of experience)
- Experience with Schneider Ecostruxure, Tridium Niagara and/or JCI CCT/Metasys
- Understanding of mechanical HVAC equipment and sequence of operations
- Experience with building automation programming (Function Block, Ladder, or Text-based) or other programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, VBA)
- Strong understanding of Modbus and BACnet protocols and integration of these technologies into BAS systems
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to and work on construction sites for commissioning/startup
