Senior Systems Integrator (PLC)

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department and performing routine and complex technical duties in troubleshooting and repairing of components within PLC field cabinets, sensors, and related controls.

Requirements

• Provide design assistance to internal team
• Setup, program, troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC) systems/HMI and associated automation controls
• Analyze, test and debug PLC code to ensure reliable performance
• Mentor lower-level technicians to maintain these standards
• Take initiative and responsibility for the checkout of end devices, module configuration, and troubleshooting network related issues
• Responsible for the startup of simple to complex HVAC systems
• Communicate technical issues to management, project managers and/or more senior level technicians
• Maintain field markups and coordinate field markups from lower-level techs
• Perform necessary database tasks such as backups, troubleshooting and exporting of files
• Creates thorough daily reports
• Mentors and set a good example for less experienced technicians
• Communicate with jobsite personnel from other trades to complete project objectives
• Works with commissioning agent to demonstrate system functionality
