We are looking for a IT System Administrator - Infrastructure to strengthen our IT department. The position involves administration and further development of the network infrastructure, operation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers, and technical integration of locations and companies into the existing system landscape.

Requirements

• Administration and further development of the network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls)
• Operation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (e.g. VMware vSphere, Proxmox VE) and central storage systems
• Management and maintenance of the Microsoft and Linux server landscape
• Technical integration of locations and companies into the existing system landscape
• Management and monitoring of SSL/TLS certificates, internal PKI structures, automated extensions, and security monitoring as part of a central certificate management
• Coordination, implementation, and documentation of IT security and backup concepts
• Support in the implementation of cloud and hybrid solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure, SAP BTP)
• Collaboration with internal departments, subsidiaries, partners, and external IT service providers
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in ongoing operation
• Interface to building technology in terms of UPS, standby power supply, and fire detection
