Job Description
The Machine Safety Engineer will ensure compliance and safety in the ABI BĂ©cancour plant by designing and maintaining equipment protection devices and promoting a proactive occupational health and safety culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, automation or related field)
- Formation or certification in machine safety
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ)
- Computer skills (GMAO, KPI) for tracking machine safety, regulatory compliance, and equipment performance
