Job Description
A Technologist role is available at ELYSIS in New Kensington, PA. The candidate will participate in the development of innovative technology, work on projects requiring engineering, design, laboratory operations, and manufacturing efforts for the industrialization and commercialization of ELYSIS electrodes. The role involves providing technical direction, guiding technicians, and tracking performance. A Bachelor's degree in ceramics, chemical, or material processing is required, or an Associate's degree with 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing/processing environment may substitute. Experience with CAD/CAM software, Allen Bradley PLC/HMI Software, and project management is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in ceramics, chemical, or material processing
- 5 years of work experience in ceramics, chemical, or material processing
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD) and Allen Bradley PLC/HMI Software (RS Logics, etc.)
- Experience with managing projects (e.g., equipment installation, upgrades, etc.)
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
