Data Engineer (m/w/d) - Croatia

We are looking for a Data Engineer to start in Q1 2026 for our Delivery Center in Zagreb. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a similar role. The position involves technical implementation of customer projects, data integration, and support for the project team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or another mathematical/scientific field, or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role
• Fluent communication skills in English (C1 level) and Croatian, as well as a willingness to travel as part of consulting engagements
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java), especially with its data engineering components and libraries, as well as knowledge of Git
• Good knowledge of technologies from at least one cloud provider (Azure / AWS / GCP / Databricks), particularly their data engineering components and services
• Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including data modeling
