The Medical Director, Global Patient Safety, is accountable for executing safety and risk management activities for assigned clinical development projects or marketed products to ensure the safe and effective use of Alexion's products by patients and healthcare providers. This includes leading risk management evaluation and resolution, identifying and evaluating safety signals, and providing safety contributions to study designs and study concept delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of GPS deliverables, standards, and processes, as well as knowledge and understanding of US and EU safety regulations pre- and post-marketing.
