Application Engineer for Petrochemical and Refinery industries

Alfa Laval is looking for an Application Engineer for Petrochemical and Refinery industries. The position will be based in Lund and will report to Global Sales Manager - Process GPHE. The candidate will develop technical solutions for global energy projects, work closely with the Global Industry Manager to drive growth, and strengthen technical expertise within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related field)
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales- or process engineering-role within the energy sector or heavy industries
• Experience with heat exchangers (strong advantage)
• Ability to understand complex industrial processes and customer requirements
• Experience developing technical solutions and proposals for industrial applications
• Experience supporting sales teams or working in a customer-facing technical role
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
