We are looking for a Group XRF Technical Chemist to join our team at our Laboratory in Liverpool, UK. You will provide technical, operational and method development support to the group XRF teams globally and actively take a leading role in method development projects and method improvements.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of XRF and experience of applying this in a practical setting.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach and work ethic.
- Able to critically review technical information and spot root causes and suggest solutions.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work under own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing daily priorities.
- The ability to develop the skills and knowledge within the laboratory to create an environment where knowledge sharing is a priority.
- Ability to work in an organized and structured way, whilst maintaining flexibility to the changing and demanding needs of the business.
- Able to focus on meeting given deadlines.
- Proven time management skills, quality driven and pro-active.
- Foreign language skills would be beneficial but not essential.
