Assistant Field Hockey Coach/Assistant Equipment Manager

The Assistant Field Hockey Coach/Assistant Equipment Manager is a 50/50 position responsible for assisting the head field hockey coach and equipment manager with various tasks, including coaching, recruiting, equipment management, and civic engagement. The position requires a bachelor's degree, certifications, and a minimum of four years of experience as a collegiate field hockey student-athlete and/or coach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, health science, exercise science, sport management, or related field
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) certification or ability to become certified within two years
• Minimum of four years as a collegiate field hockey student-athlete and/or coach
• Demonstrated successful recruiting and retention of student-athletes, preferably NCAA Division III
• Minimum of one year of experience in equipment and uniform management, preferably within an NCAA or professional environment
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for up to three hours at a time
