Roadway Project Engineer

Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm. We are looking for a Roadway Project Engineer with experience in civil transportation design and comprehensive knowledge of roadway projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior staff to deliver transportation projects, be accountable for budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation design experience
• Licensed PE in the state of TN or able to obtain licensure through comity within one year
• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or municipalities
• Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per DOT standards and requirements
• Excellent communication and client relation skills
• Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
• Advanced use of MicroStation and Geopak. OpenRoads Designer experience a plus
