Job Description
Alight is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II (API Developer) to design, develop, test, and maintain robust APIs and integration services that power our enterprise applications. In this role, you will drive the full software development lifecycle for API projects – from collaborating on requirements through coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing support – to deliver high-quality, high-impact software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3-6 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on building and integrating RESTful APIs or backend web services.
- Knowledge of API design principles, API testing tools, and performance optimization techniques.
