Job Description
Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling and turning centers to manufacture aerospace and defense components. Key responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings, selecting and adjusting cutting tools, and performing in-process and final inspections.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of CNC machining experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with advanced machining or technical training
- Strong understanding of aerospace drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
- Proven ability to hold tight tolerances and work with precision components
- Proficiency using precision measurement tools
- Solid math skills, including fractions, decimals, and basic geometry
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing documentation practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining processes
