Job Description
Develops and supports Environmental Health and Safety standards and programs across the company and or client site. Responsible for Environmental Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and Local regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with 0-2 years of experience.
- Familiarity with OSHA reporting logs
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations
- Basic understanding and navigation of safety resources including OSHA protocols and compliance.
- Understanding of OSHA Voluntary Protection Program and objectives to work towards certification
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement (CI) and safety’s role in CI initiatives within the organization
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office software and Windows operating system
- Working knowledge of general office procedures, filing systems, data entry techniques and business equipment
- Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced growing and dynamic business
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs as required
