Job Description
Performs in-process, first article, and final inspections of manufactured components to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Utilizes precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and documents inspection results accurately.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications, including GD&T
- Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and optical comparators
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production, engineering, and quality personnel
