Full Stack AI Senior Developer

AlixPartners seeks a Full Stack AI Senior Developer to develop bespoke applications and websites globally, support, enhance, maintain, and upgrade custom developed applications. The role is a 6-month contract with potential to extend, located in Southfield, Michigan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, Business or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree(s)
• Minimum of three (3) years in Application analysis, development or a related field, and significant exposure to software development best practices and processes
• Experience in Microsoft Tech Stack (.net), Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
• Hands-on experience in UI/UX development is highly desirable including experience in React JS
• Hands-on experience in prompting and evaluating LLMs (Claude, Co-Pilot, Gemini) including few-shot prompting and structured outputs
• Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), grounding strategies, and common LLM failure modes (hallucinations, prompt injection, data leakage) and Agentic AI
• Ability to translate business requirements into prompt strategies and product requirements with measurable outcomes (quality, safety, speed, and cost)
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with various personnel styles; ability to effectively convey and obtain buy-in for holistic strategies at all levels and functions in the organization
• Must be process and detail oriented, but able to grasp the big picture
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written in English and collaborate effectively within and across teams
