Risk Advisory Economics Consulting - Vice President

AlixPartners is a global consulting firm looking for a Japanese-and-English-speaking PhD/Master economist to support economic analysis and research for high-profile cases. The role involves working with clients to obtain required data and information, performing data analysis, and writing reports.

Requirements

• Native or business-level of Japanese and English languages
• PhD or Master in Economics, preferably with a focus in Industrial Organization, Microeconomics, Econometrics, or Applied Economics
• Capability with MS Excel and analytical software/relational database and econometrics programs (e.g., Stata, R, SAS, MS SQL Server, MS Access, SPSS)
• Strong record of technical expertise through past casework and/or publications
• Excellent communication, managerial and analytical skills, as well as leadership skills
• 3-5 years of work experience (especially in the consulting industry)
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours
• Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment
