Job Description
We are seeking a heavy duty Service Technician & Mechanic to troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and repair heavy duty trailers. The position requires strong initiative, ability to work independently, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR.
Requirements
- Troubleshoot, preventive maintenance, and repair on all makes of heavy duty trailers
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
- Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
- Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
- Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
