The Medical Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting clinicians and ensuring efficient daily operations. Work hours may vary based on location, patient volume, and business needs. Medical Assistants at CloseKnit perform a blend of clinical and administrative duties, working closely with providers and staff to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Current CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification
- Current BLS or CPR certification
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- Experience using EMR systems
- Competency in: Clinical intake and patient data collection, Lab specimen collection (including venipuncture), Point-of-care testing, EKG testing
