The Senior Accountant will have primary responsibility for ensuring proper accounting and recording of activity covering various areas and transactions (i.e. revenue, fixed assets, debt, and treasury). Will maintain proper records and documentation for SOX compliance and provide timely reporting to various individuals inside and outside the organization.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check
- Must have a Bachelorās Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance
- General knowledge on accounting systems
- Experience working in a 404 compliant environment
- Experience with data analytics tools such as ACL or Arbutus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Solid communication and critical thinking abilities
- Attention to detail is essential
