The CNC Machinist is responsible for set-up and machining of production, prototype and R&D parts and fixtures. This position works cross functionally to ensure on-time and quality delivery. The machinist is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
Requirements
- 7+ years total experience in manufacturing environment with at least 5+ years CNC machinist experience
- Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology, 2-year degree in Machine Technology or equivalent training
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, G-code
- Experience developing tools and fixtures
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of machining high tolerance parts
- Ability to read and interpret procedure drawings & blueprints
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills, analytical, and customer service skills
