Machine Operator

Allegion is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to manufacture components and products that meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Set up and operate basic production machinery following detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as loading/unloading parts on machines, attaching components, and operating hand tools.
• Conduct basic equipment checks to ensure machinery and tools are operational.
• Follow step-by-step instructions for machine setup and operation.
• Perform routine quality inspections using basic measurement tools.
• Identify and segregate defective parts for supervisor review.
• Maintain accurate records of production counts and defect reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers and quality control to address challenges and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist with cross-training and overtime as needed.
